The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell – full interior design service for the renovation of a detached 4 bedroom house in the New Forest featured in 25 Beautiful Homes and etc Magazine
Previously a Victorian public house, set in the heart of the New Forest in Hampshire, the Old Sir Walter Tyrrell had been empty for 10 years. My client’s brief was to bring the property back to life remaining true to it’s heritage but also creating a beautiful, luxurious but comfortable modern country retreat. Inspiration was drawn from the natural environment of the forest and local hotel’s The Pig and Lime Wood.

Project – Redevelopment of a 5 bedroom house with separate apartment, Winchester
I retained Mia’s Interior Design services to help me with the finishing design and interior decoration of a 60’s property in Winchester following its full refurbishment. I found working with Mia very straightforward, flexible and inspiring. She was very reactive, following the brief but also making interesting suggestions, one of which was the addition of some tall windows in the attic suite which I am especially pleased with. I was very happy with the colour scheme, which was simple but had some interesting additions using wallpaper and natural finishes. She was very good at keeping to budget and made suggestions of where to keep costs down and where to spend a little extra.
I will definitely be involving Mia in my future projects.

Leaf & Bean Cafe – Winchester
Mia did a great job in helping us create the right look for our new coffee shop, the ‘Leaf & Bean’ in Winchester.
My partner and I wanted something contemporary with a fresh and clean feel to it, Mia developed our ideas into a coherent interior design concept which we absolutely loved. Her initial sketch drawing was spot on and we more or less built the coffee shop around it.
